PITTSBURGH, July 19. -- A trolley car ... extracted its told of death in this section. At Ford City the three-year-old son of Gearhard Szffran, a merchant, was ground beneath a trolley car. His neck and back were broken. He had escaped from his mother on a porch, and the father, infuriated at what he called her carelessness, knocked her down and was beating her when the police interfered. She escaped and is hiding.
