COLLISION ON THE BALTIMORE CENTRAL RAILROAD.----This day, a collision occurred on the Baltimore Central Railroad, at twenty minutes past four in the afternoon, near the Fairville (Pa.) Station. Two passenger-trains met on a curve on a heavy grade. Both engines and four of the cars are a total wreck. Lee Michner, a farmer, residing in Chester county, was standing on the platform of one of the cars, and was instantly killed. The firemen and engineers escaped by jumping from the train. A conductor, Mr. Willis Taylor, and a newsboy, were seriously injured. Mr. Finney, an employee of the railroad company, was injured. The contractor, A. B. Burton, was riding on the engine and jumped off. He was bruised, but not seriously. Every assistance was rendered to the passengers, a number of whom were more or less injured.
