SEVENTEEN PERSONS INJURED

By a Collision on Youngstown and Sharon Electric Line.

Youngstown, Aug. 27.--In a head-end collision on the electric line of the Youngstown and Sharon railway at 6 o’clock this morning between Sharon and Hubbard, seventeen persons were injured, some seriously but none fatally. The cars were conveying workmen to their labors.

It is now said that Conductor Joseph Farrager and Motorman Joseph Thomas, who were injured in the electric car collision were fatally hurt. Thomas is reported to have fractured his skull, and is internally injured. Conductor Farrager was caught in the wreck and crushed. The other injured will recover.
