Sunbury, PA Train Accident, Dec 1907

-----Harry Meniel would have bled to death the other night at Sunbury had not his military training been called into play. Two months ago he was honorably discharged from the army. While employed as brakeman on a Pennsylvania railroad freight train he fell under the cars sustaining a terrible laceration of the head. He quietly directed the men how to close the arteries to shut off the flow of blood.

The Wellsboro Agitator, Wellsboro, PA 18 Dec 1907
