JONES' AWFUL PLUNGE

Welshman Drops Nearly Three Hundred Feet to His Death.

WILKESBARRE, July 16---David Jones, a prominent young Welshman, met a horrible death at the Mt. Lookout colliery, Wyoming, last night. In some manner he slipped and fell the entire distance of the air shaft, 387 feet.

When picked up he was dead and every bone in his body broken.
