Five Persons Are Killed In Mishaps

Philadelphia, Feb. 13 (AP)---Five persons were killed in accidents here Sunday. Patrick Shindler, 31, and Seaman Frederick Roach, 17, of the Navy, were burned do death in an automobile crash. Elliott Lee Cooper and James Massey, 30, were fatally crushed in a collision of a switching engine and a Pennsylvania railroad locomotive near the Navy yard. Private Michael Hantow, of Pittsburg, a marine, was killed in a the crash of his auto against a pole. He was stationed at Fort Miffin.
