Held for Running Down Man

Blamed for the death of William A. Schwartz, of 336 Kingsley avenue, who died on Saturday after he had been run down a Wissahickon avenue and Roberts lane by a motor truck that he operated, Howard Hutchinson, of 1613 Venango street, was held by Magistrate Beaton yesterday pending action of the Coroner. Schwartz was picking up a bunch of keys that he had dropped when he was struck by the vehicle.

CLEARED OF MAN'S DEATH

Chauffeur Exonerated From Blame in Fatal Auto Accident

Full exoneration was given by a Coroner's jury yesterday to Howard Hutchinson, a chauffeur, of 1613 West Venango street, from all blame in causing the death of William A. Schwartz, who died in the Germantown Hospital on August 7 from injuries sustained when struck by an automobile driven by Hutchinson on Wissachickon avenue.

Schwartz was leaving his place of employment at the Midvale Steel Works when struck by the automobile. Bystanders testified that Hutchinson made every effort to avoid striking him.

SCHWARTZ.----Suddenly, on Aug.7. 1915. WILLIAM A., husband of Cecelia M. Schwartz, aged 32 years. Relatives and friends, also various organizations with which he was connected, are invited to attend funeral service, on Tuesday, at 2 P. M. precisely at his late residence, 336 Kinsley st. Roxborough, Phila. Interment Westminster Cemetery.
