CHILD OF SIX IGNORES PARENTS, DROWNS IN CREEK

MEYERSDALE, June 19.--Dolores Arleen Adams, six years old, daughter of Fred and Clara Hecker Adams of Boswell, was drowned in nearby Quemahoning creek, according to Dr. William J. Logue, Somerset county coroner, Friday afternoon.

The child was said to have ignored the warning of her parents and left home in company with two other girls to take a swim in the creek. Dan Podero of Holsopple, a bakery truck driver, recovered the body in five feet of water.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the late home. Burial will be made in a Johnstown cemetery.
