W.V. ALBAUGH Killed By Pennsylvania Flyer
Veteran Freight Conductor Who is Brother of Mrs. David LUNNEN of the West Side.
W. V. ALBAUGH of Derry, a well known P. R. R. freight conductor, and a brother of Mrs. David LUNNEN of the West Side, was instantly killed last night by P. R. R. train No. 10. Mr. ALBAUGH was out on his regular run when he met his death. Mrs. LUNNEN received word of her brother’s death this morning and the messenger only stated that he was killed last night by train No. 10 at Gallitzin. She left for Derry this morning.
Mr. ALBAUGH had resided at Derry nearly all his life and was about 53 years old. He had been in the employ of the Pennsylvania railroad for the past 27 years. His widow, five children and the following brothers and sisters survived: Peter ALBAUGH of Brockton, Mass; E R. ALBAUGH, Mrs. Harry IRVIN of Derry, and Mrs. David LUNNEN of the West Side.
