Altoona, PA Train Accident, Aug 1904

David Snyder, train receiver at Seventeenth street, was struck by an engine yesterday afternoon, receiving bruises and cuts of the face and hands. He stepped from the office onto the track, when engine 2405 struck and hurled him to the side of the track. His injuries are not serious.
