Pittsburgh, PA Fall from Building, May 1890

At Pittsburgh on the 3d Thomas Carey, a workman on the new government building, was thrown from the top of the structure to the ground, a distance of 150 feet, and instantly killed. In his descent he struck two other workmen, James Brisbin and William Lavelle, who were also thrown to the ground. Brisbin was fatally and Lavelle seriously hurt.
