Boy Knocked Off a Bridge
Special to The Inquirer.
READING, July 16.---Lloyd Allen, aged 3 years, was on a Pennsylvania Railroad bridge at Leesport when a train came along. The boy was struck and thrown off the bridge into the Schuylkill Canal. The fall was thirty feet. He would have drowned in five feet of water but for the timely rescue by some men. Beyond a few bruises the child was not hurt.
