Tyrone, PA Train Accident, Aug 1906

Joseph Eidler, aged 23 years, residing at Tyrone, was injured this morning about 5 o'clock, while walking on the railroad track near his home town. The young man failed to notice the approach of an east bound train and he was struck and hurled to one side of the track, luckily falling clear of the wheels. He sustained a compound fracture of the right arm and lacerations of the face.
