CHARLES H. MARSHALL, A WELL-KNOWN RAILROAD MAN OF THIS CITY, FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS IN THE EMPLOY OF THE SANTA FE, AND PRESENTLY AS A FREIGHT BRAKEMAN FOR FRISCO, WAS KILLED BY THE CARS OF A FRISCO FREIGHT TRAIN WHILE ENGAGED IN MAKING A COUPLING LAST FRIDAY NIGHT AT THOMAS, OKLAHOMA, SOUTHWEST OF ENID. LITTLE IS KNOWN ABOUT THE ACCIDENT EXCEPT THAT HE HAD GONE IN BETWEEN TWO CARS AND WAS CAUGHT MAKING A COUPLING AND HAD DROPPED TO THE TRACK AS THE CARS SEPARATED, WHEN HE WAS RUN OVER AND KILLED.
