ENGINEER HELD FOR KILLING.

Coroner Decides Engine Struck Car with Too Great Force.

Special To The News.

Guthrie, Ok., Jan. 19.---C. G. Schultz, an engineer on the Rock Island main line through Oklahoma, was held to the Grand Jury today at Pond Creek as being responsible for the death of Wiley Miller, who was killed in a freight car on a siding at Pond Creek on the 10th inst.

The Coroner's jury made an investigation and was convinced that the engine operated by Schultz struck the car in switching with such force as to cause Miller's death. Miller was moving to Oklahoma and riding in the car with his household goods and live stock. The evidence showed that the car was struck with such force as to knock down all of the live stock and shift the entire lot of household goods.
