FIRST FOOTBALL ACCIDENT.

Weatherford, Oklahoma, Sept. 21.---Through the death of J. J. Dick, 25, a student at the Southwestern State Normal college here, from injuries received in a football game, the first fatally of the gridiron season has been recorded. Dick was hit in the head in a scrimmage. He died in a few minutes. The accident occurred in the first game of the season at the normal school and may result in putting an end to football.
