Hennessey, OK Tornado, Apr 1912
Oklahoma City, Okla., April 20. – Fifty houses were blown down and two women killed by a tornado which swept the town of Hennessey, about thirty miles northwest of here about 4:30 o’clock this afternoon. Mrs. MARY HOLMES, a widow, was instantly kiled. [sic] The name of the other woman is unknown. The property loss is placed at over $50,000.
The tornado also struck the town of Hayward, north of Hennessey, where several houses were demolished. It is now known whether any one was killed there.
