THREE DIE AS PLANE FALLS IN OKLAHOMA.

Seminole, Ok., Oct. 4. -- (AP) -- Three men were killed here late today when the plane in which they were riding crashed and burned.
The dead:
EDDIE AUTREY, Seminole.
HARRY MOORE, Seminole.
JACK WHITTEN, Wewoka, pilot.
The crash occurred about 2 1/2 miles south of Seminole at the municipal airport.
MRS. WHITTEN, wife of the pilot, was among the spectators. MOORE, 30, also leaves a widow, AUTREY, 24, was unmarried.
Witnesses said the plane was flying low when suddenly it nose-dived and crashed in flames.
WHITTEN, about 40, was a war flyer and had a good record.
WHITTEN, the pilot came from Wichita, Kan., about six months ago to manage the Wewoka airport.
The plane had just taken off and was only about 40 feet above the ground when suddenly it dropped like a plummet. The cause of the crash was not determined.
MOORE was owner of a Seminole furniture store; AUTREY, who came here from Sherman, Tex., was manager of a grocery.
The WHITTENS have a 16-year-old daughter.
