FIRE DESTROYS COLLEGE.

Alva, Okla., Mar. 1 -- (UP) -- Fire, which was believed to have started from defective wiring in the floor above the reading room, destroyed the Northwest State Teachers' College here today.
The loss was estimated at $500,000. Only the walls and one room were left standing.
