Crushed by a Sawlog.

Special Dispatch to the Cincinnati Gazette.

NEWARK, O., Aug. 17.---Ad. Seymour, a prominent young man of this county, and formerly engaged in business in this city, met with a serious and doubtless fatal accident to-day. Seymour was engaged on his farm hauling logs, and while assisting in loading one the chain broke, letting the log run back upon him and crushing this stomach in a terrible manner. As soon as possible he was extricated and medical aid summoned. He now lies in a comatose state, and in a decidedly critical condition.

Cincinnati Daily Gazette, Cincinnati, OH 18 Aug 1880
