FOUR INJURED IN WRECK

Engine Leaves Rails When Rain Softens Roadbed

CINCINNATI, O., April 20. - Four men were injured, two of them seriously when Pennsylvania Railroad accomodation train due here at 10.50 a. m. from Columbus was wrecked north of Morrow, Ohio. The victims were: James A. Durpee, engineer of Cincinnati, Fireman Clarence A. Puckett, Cincinnati; Baggagemaster E. L. Galloway, Columbus, and an express messenger also of Columbus, whose name and address have not yet been obtained.

The locomotive and the baggage car left the tracks and overturned catching under it the engineer and fireman who had leaped from the cab. Galloway and the express messenger where thrown against the side of the baggage car when it overturned. Galloway's leg was broken. The injuries of Durpee and Puckett and serious. The smoker and the ladies' coach, the two remaining cars on the train did not leave the rails. The passengers were shaken up but none was injured. The accident was caused by the heavy rains softening the roadbed. The injured men were brought to this city and removed to hospitals.
