HOTEL FIRE.

Toledo, O., Hostelry Destroyed---Guests All Escape.

Toledo, O., Feb. 22.---The Hotel Devereaux, corner of St. Clair and Jefferson streets, was almost completely destroyed by fire this afternoon. The fire was discovered by one of the guests on the third floor and had gained quite a little headway. An alarm was turned in at once, but by the flames had spread to the second and fourth floors.

The guests and help were notified an all left the building in safely, many taking their personal effects with them. The cause of the fire is unknown. The loss will amount to $60,000, with $30,000 insurance. There were about 50 guests in the house.
