Two Firemen Killed in Ohio Courthouse Fire
LIMA, Ohio, Jan. 7 (AP). - Two firemen were killed Monday when part of the roof of the burning Lima County [sic] courthouse fell, burying them.
They were Capt. John Wolfe and Fireman John Fisher. Together with Fireman Frank Kinzer they were working on the second floor of the building when the roof crashed. There is an eight-foot space between the ceiling of the second story and the floor of the third, and the fire is said to have started in there, presumably from a blow torch being used to thaw frozen pipes.
Many county records are believed to have been destroyed by the fire.
