OSU Student Dies In Plane Crash

Eylria, O.- Piloting a Navy fighter plane, 24 year old PETER POPOVICH power-dived to his death yesterday a short distance from his home here.

An Ohio State University student, POPOVICH was an ensign in the U.S. naval reserve and took off from the naval air station at Columbus on a routine flight, authorities there reported.

Cause of the crash was unknown, Port Columbus officials declared, but it was believe it may have resulted from weather conditions.
