THREE DEAD AS TRAIN CRASHES INTO TRUCK.

Delphos, O., Feb. 25 -- (AP) -- Three persons were killed and four injured when the Pennsylvania flyer, the Dearborn, crashed into a truck at a crossing in a snowstorm here today. The locomotive was overturned and seven cars derailed.
The dead:
GILBERT L. LEHMAN, Fort Wayne, Ind., engineer.
ANDREW PALMER, Fort Wayne, Ind., fireman.
PHILLIP LANG, Chicago, truck driver.

Delphos train accident

On January 14th, 2008 foxmeyer says:

I have been looking for this information! My father was a child whose family lived near the tracks when this train derailed. He vividly remembers the awful sounds that awakened everyone from their sleep. The wrecked train cars remained for quite a while in the area. Recently he showed me a photo with the wreck in the background, but could not remember the date.
