FOSTORIA MAN IS KILLED IN ACCIDENT NEAR WILLARD.

Willard, Jan. 13 -- (Special) -- D. HUNTER, 24, Fostoria, met death in an automobile accident three miles north of here at the junction of State Route 99 and Huron County Road No. 8 this afternoon at 4 o'clock.
HUNTER, driving a Blue Valley Creamery truck out of Cleveland, was thrown out of his truck when it was struck by a car operated east by L. G. WILLIAMS, Willard fire chief and police officer, the truck rolling on top of HUNTER and breaking his neck.
WILLIAMS reported HUNTER had been driving at a fast clip and failed to make the stop at the junction. HUNTER apparently did not see the WILLIAMS car. WILLIAMS said he attempted to evade striking the truck but was unable to make the turn because of loose gravel.
The body of HUNTER was taken to the Secor Funeral Home here and Fostoria authorities notified.
