Wind Blows Youth To Death in River

Toledo, O., April 6-(AP)-FRANK HORNYAK, 13, was blown by a strong wind into the Maumee River today from a railroad bridge and was drowned, police reported.

The U.S. Weather Bureau reported wind velocity around 60 miles per hour around the time of the accident.

Harvey Birchell, 12, told police he and Frank were walking across the bridge when the wind caused them to lose their balance. Young Birchell said he clung to railroad ties until the gust subsided long enough for him to reach safety on
