4 KILLED WHEN TRAIN HITS AUTO.

COLUMBUS FAMILY WIPED OUT AT MARION --
PLANNED VISIT TO KIN.

Marion, O., March 29. -- (AP) -- Four persons who drove here from Columbus for a visit, were killed when a Big Four passenger train struck their automobile, just as they were only a few blocks from their destination, late last night.
The dead:
BRYAN STEPHENS, 33.
MRS. HENRIETTA STEPHENS, 27.
RALPH, 9, son of the STEPHENS.
MRS. NANCY STEPHENS, 50, mother of BRYAN.
LESTER STEPHENS, five, brother of RALPH, and the fifth occupant of the car, escaped with minor bruises. He ran to the home of Oliver Stephens, a brother of BRYAN, who was to have been the STEPHENS' host today, and told of the crash which brought instant death to all but himself.
Police were unable to find any witnesses to the accident, which occurred at the Grand Avenue crossing. Occupants of another car which crossed just ahead of the STEPHENS machine, said they saw no train. Wreckage was scattered for 200 feet, and one of the bodies was found on the tender of the locomotive.
The bodies were to be returned today to South Webster, near Portsmouth, home of the STEPHENS before they moved to Columbus recently.
