Fireman Crushed to Death in Ohio---Deering Station Accident

LIMA, O., Jan 2.---Fireman Charles Snyder was crushed to death in a freight wreck on the Ohio Southern road two miles north of Bainbridge last night. The operator at Greenfield did not stop the south bound train for orders, and it crashed into the north bound train. Engineers Summers and Crawford and Brakemen Davis and Mendenhall were injured, but not seriously.
