Architect Indicted For Arson.

ELYRIA, O., Feb, 26.---James D. Gawn, a prominent Lorain county architect, has been indicted for arson, charged with burning the Amherst schoolhouse last October in order to get a contract for a new building.

Sentenced to the Penitentiary.

ELYRIA, O., July 23.---The motion for a new trial in the case of James D. Gawn, who was found guilty of burning a schoolhouse was overruled and he was sentenced for 18 months.
