MANY OTHERS HAVE NARROW ESCAPES WHEN HOTEL THOMAS IS DESTROYED IN CINCINNATI.

Cincinnati, April 25. -- Three persons lost their lives in the Hotel Thomas which was gutted by fire. Many others had narrow escapes.

The dead are:
Attorney WALTER G. CAMERON, brother of Dr. Otis L. Cameron, former coroner of Hamilton county.
H. E. LAWRENCE, proofreader on the Enquirer.
JACOB HEFTY, hotel employe.

MR. CAMERON and MR. LAWRENCE were both asleep when the fire broke out and are supposed to have gone back to their rooms to get valuables and were then unable to reach the street. HEFTY went to the basement after rousing several people in the hotel and was found back of the boilers, burned to a crisp.
