TWO STATE MEN DIE IN N. D. PLANE CRASH.

Stanley, N.D. -- (AP) -- Two Montana men returning home from a grocers' convention were killed Thursday when their light plane crashed in fog and light sleet in northwestern North Dakota.
Victims were BUCK ORMSBY RYDER, 53, owner of a grocery store at Froid, Mont., and MARLIN GRANDAHL, 39, manager of the Framers Co-Op store at Medicine Lake, Mont.
RYDER, who was piloting the plane, was a member of the Missouri Valley Flying Club, owner of the plane. He had been a pilot for 2 1/2 years.
Their four-place Cessna 172D crashed about 12:05 p.m., or 25 minutes after they left the Minot, N.D., Airport en route to Culbertson, Mont.
RYDER was killed outright, GRANDAHL died about 3 p.m. in the Stanley hospital.
