National Bank Examiner F. B. Chapman SlighFtly[sic] Injured at Minot.
Minot Optic: United States Bank Examiner Frank Chapman was a participant in a lively runaway accident, that happened in this city about 10 o'clock Thursday evening. Mr. Chapman was driving with a lady friend and as he was assisting her to alight from the trap the horse which he was driving made a plunge and started to run. Mr. Chapman was on the ground with the lines in his hands, when the horse started to run, the young lady having reached the ground in safety. When the animal started to run away, Mr. Chapman dropped the lines, and the only injury he received was a slight bruise to his left side. The horse ran down Main street to Fourth avenue and thence down Fourth avenue to Welcome street, at which point he was stopped. The buggy was badly demolished but the horse escaped without injury.
