FIRE LOSS WAS $1,800
Building Burned Early Yesterday Morning Owned by Mrs. Selegar.
The building burned early yesterday morning, near the Wilder school building, was owned by Mrs. Selegar. It was unoccupied, except that Mrs. Selegar had a room there and usually slept in the building. Friday night she stopped with her daughter. Mrs. Penturen, and was there when the fire broke out. The fire had gained such headway that the department did not return to headquarters for more hose in order to reach the building, but allowed it to burn and remained on watch to see that no further damage was done. The loss is estimated at $1,800.
