Aurora, NY Wells College Fire, Feb 1925
Costly Fire

Auburn, N. Y., Feb. 3---Fire today destroyed Morgan Hall, oldest building on the campus at Wells College, Aurora. No one was in the building when fire broke out.
Lack of water pressure hampered the college and Aurora fire departments when they arrived and by the time pressure was obtained the blaze ahd[sic] such a start that the structure burned to the ground. It was used for music school class rooms, classes in biology, history and art department and had a large lecture hall used for general purposes. One piano was the noly[sic] thing saved.
