R. H. HEGEMAN BURNED TO DEATH.

An Old Resident of Roslyn Found in the Ruins of His Home.

ROSLYN, L. I., Nov. 14.---Robert H. Hegeman was burned to death last night. He lived alone. He was last seen getting his mail at the Post Office early in the evening. Fire at 1 A. M. destroyed his house, and after daybreak his charred body was found.

Mr. Hegeman was seventy-five years old. He leaves a daughter, who is the wife of Postmaster James K. Davis of this place. He had relatives in Brooklyn.
