New York, NY Excavation Cave In, Sept 1896

Killed by Falling Walls.

NEW YORK, Sept. 29.---One man was killed and two others injured yesterday by the caving in of the walls of an excavation at Forty-fifth street and Fifth avenue. The dead man is Patrick Quinn. The injured are Andrew Reilly and John Newman. Both were taken to the Flower hospital.
