Mother and Three Children Perish In New York Tenement Fire.

New York, May 27. -- In a fire that destroyed a five story tenement today four were burned to death and a number seriously injured. The dead are:
CHARLES WADLING, seven years old.
HELEN WADLING, four years old.
GEORGE WADING[sic], seven years old.
The three are the children of the first named.
The majority of those injured were hurt by jumping from windows. There were many thrilling rescues by the firemen.
The fire was incendiary origin. One of the tenants discovered a man pouring oil on the walls of and then setting fire to the building, but was unable to capture him.
