DROWNED IN UNION LAKE.

THEODORE CLARK AND HIS NEPHEW VICTIMS OF ACCIDENT.

THEY STARTED IN A CANOE FOR A TRIP ACROSS UNION LAKE, BUT NEVER ARRIVED AT THEIR DESTINATION -- MR. CLARK A PROMINENT BUSINESS MAN OF CAZENOVIA.

Cazenovia, May 22. -- News has been received here of the sudden death of THEODORE CLARK. MR. CLARK, accompanied by his 9-year-old nephew, RICHARD R. LEWIS, started in a canoe for a trip over Union lake Sunday and were to meet some other canoeists at Union Lake park.
When they failed to arrive search was made for them. Their hats and canoe were found on the shore of the lake and later MR. CLARK'S body was found, but the body of the boy has not yet been found.
MR. CLARK was in business in this village for several years, being junior partner of the firm of Clark & Mulligan. Funeral services will be held here in the Presbyterian church on Thursday at 11 o'clock.
MR. CLARK is survived by a widow, mother and two sisters.
