Alamogordo, NM Bomber Crash, Jan 1943
TEN ARE KILLED IN BOMBER CRASH IN NEW MEXICO.

Alamogordo, N.M., Jan. 12. -- Ten airmen were killed in the crash of a B-24 army bomber at the Alamogordo army air base early today, the base public relations officer announced.
The plane was on a routine flight, the base said, and the cause of the accident will be determined by a board of inquiry.
The following were listed as killed:
Lt. WILLIAM F. SCHULTO of Denver, the pilot.
Lt. ELMER MOLLQUE of Dayton, Ohio, co-pilot.
Lt. BILLIE D. STULTS, Ozark, Mo.
Lt. RAYMOND W. WHERLING, Pittsburgh, Pa.
Pvt. FLOYD J. PEKRUL, Matoon, Ill.
Sgt. AUSTIN P. YOUNG, Easton, Pa.
Sgt. PAUL D. MILLER, Muscoda, Wis.
Sgt. WILLIE F. ROSE, Ashland, Ky.
Sgt. WARREN S. LEEPER, Blunt, S. Dak.
Sgt. ROBERT C. McCORMICK, Los Angeles, Calif.
