Five Families Burned Out

ELIZABETH. July 9 -- Fire which broke out in the house of Carrie L. Vandertofer [or Vanderhofer] at 35 Third street, Elizabethport, early this morning, spread to the house of the Rev. Dr. Thomas Heywood, adjoining, badly damaging both buildings. Five families were burned out.
