Preakness, NJ Private Plane Crashes On Take Off, May 1947


Preakness, N. J. -- A crash involving a light passenger plane which fell on a farm near Wayne township, took the lives of a private pilot and his passenger.
Wayne township police, who said the small plane had taken off from Murchio Field at Preakness, identified the dead as GARRY HAZEKAMP, 34 of Haskell, and HERMAN FISHER, 42, of Paterson. Cause of the crash, police said, was not yet determined.
