Dunellen, NJ Train Wreck, Jan 1891

NEW-JERSEY.
A bad wreck was caused on the Central New-Jersey Railroad at Dunellen at noon yesterday, when two gondola cars in an east-bound coal train broke down beneath their overweight. Before the train was stopped both east-bound tracks had been torn up for a long-distance by the wrecked cars, and travel was effectually blockaded for hours, save over one west-bound track. Wrecking crews were summoned, and not until nightfall were the tracks again in working order.
