Bloomsbury, NJ Train Accident, Jan 1882

PHILLIPSBURG, N. J., Jan 28.---This evening, as John Tinsman was walking on the track of the New-Jersey Central Road, near Bloomsbury, he stepped directly in front of a fast train, and was struck and so badly injured that he died soon afterward. Tinsman worked at Washington, and was on his way to Milford to spend Sunday with his family.
