Burial Thursday For Auto Victim

Injuries Fatal to Mrs. Sabol, Struck While Crossing Street

The funeral of Mrs. Mary Sabol, 63, years old, who died last night at Chambersburg Hospital from injuries suffered Saturday night when struck by a truck, will be held from the Demyan, 502 Adeline Street, on Thursday morning at 8 o’clock.

A requiem high mass is to be celebrated at St. Mary’s Greek Catholic Church at 9 o’clock, followed by interment in the church cemetery, in charge of Andrew M. Tomko.

Widow of Michael Sabol, Mrs. Sabol is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Demyan and Mrs. Andrew Sedlak, of Wilkes-Barre, Pa.; a son, Michael Sabol, of Wilkes-Barre; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Sabol, Mrs. Elizabeth Kasay and Mrs. Bertha Kaschak, of Czeche-Slovakia; a brother, Joseph Brines, of Silver City, Utah; and 16 grandchildren.

The woman was returning home from church and was crossing Adeline and Malone Streets when a truck operated by Theodore Roberts, of 729 Adeline Street, is reported to have struck her.

Dr. Benjamin Treiber treated her at the hospital for a broken left ankle, rib fractures and other internal hurts. Coroner Carl Whitney issued a burial permit following death.
