Driver Seeks A Push—But Not Kind He Got

His car coughed to a stop when it ran out of gasoline on Route 1 west of Morrisville. Daniel E. Woodall, 35, of Andalusia, Pa., stepped out to seek a push to a service station.

Just after he got out of his car, a pickup truck smashed into the back of the stalled auto as Woodall jumped aside.

Winton C. Flatt, 27, of 2 McKinley Avenue, Yardley, the truck driver escaped injury in the mishap, but damage to his truck was estimated at $200.

Patrolmen John Rendeiro and Robert Gallagher of the Falls Township police investigated.
