DIE IN POWDER MILL EXPLOSION.

Bodies of Two Men Were Blown to Pieces.

Paterson, N. J., Feb. 20. -- An explosion at the Laflin & Rand powder mills at Wayne near here today caused the death of three men, the bodies of AL JACKSON and JAMES WEIR being blown to pieces. Thirty-five other employes were injured, several seriously. The cause of the explosion is unknown. Its force was felt in Newark and other nearby cities.

EXPLOSION OF POWDER CAUSES THREE DEATHS.

Paterson, N. J., Feb. 20. -- An explosion at the Laflin & Rand powder mills at Wayne, seven miles from here to-day caused the death of three men. The mills were wrecked.
