DIE IN POWDER MILL EXPLOSION.
Bodies of Two Men Were Blown to Pieces.
Paterson, N. J., Feb. 20. -- An explosion at the Laflin & Rand powder mills at Wayne near here today caused the death of three men, the bodies of AL JACKSON and JAMES WEIR being blown to pieces. Thirty-five other employes were injured, several seriously. The cause of the explosion is unknown. Its force was felt in Newark and other nearby cities.
