5 SERVICE MEN PERISH IN CRASH.

Berlin, N.J., July 5. -- (AP) -- Five service men were killed instantly today when they were thrown from their automobile after it collided head-on with a bus at Clementon road and the White Horse pike.
The wreckage was hurled 100 feet from the scene and the mangled bodies of the men were not identified until several hours later at Cooper hospital, Camden.
Service discs around their necks bore the names of JOSEPH T. CORNELIUS, 25, DuBois, Pa., and ORVILLE NORMAN, 20, Gelena, Ill., sailors; MARKOS GRAMATIKOS, 23, of 1017 Highland ave., Monessen, Pa.; ANTHONY MELIGRITIS, 23, of 1953 Perlman Place, Baltimore, Md., and HERMAN C. TRIBOLET, 29, of 2748 Federal st., Camden, N.J., soldiers.
The bus driver, WOODROW LEONE, 23, of Egg Harbor City, N.J., and two sleeping passengers escaped injury although the front of the bus was caved in. LEONE was arraigned before Police Recorder EMIL V. MATHIS and held in $1,000 bail on charges of reckless driving by automobile.
New Jersey state police said the bus, after making a sharp turn at the intersection, failed to stay on the right hand side of the highway and collided head-on with the car.
