JERSEY HOTEL BURNED.

PROPRIETOR AND WIFE HURT IN ESCAPING FROM FRANKLIN HOUSE.

Franklin, N. J., Jan. 16. -- The Franklin House was destroyed by fire early today. The loss is estimated at $25,000. The fire is thought to have started from defective electric insulation. HARRY HARRISON, the proprietor, his family, and servants, all escaped. There were about a dozen persons in the hotel when the alarm was given.
MRS. HARRISON sustained a sprained ankle. Her husband was burned severely while rescuing some of his belongings.
ROBERT COLLINS, a fireman, was caught under a falling wall and injured seriously.
