Wentworth, NH Town Fire, Sep 1921
BIG FIRE AT WENTWORTH, N. H.
Wentworth, N. H., Sept. 6. -- Two stores and seven houses in the center of town were destroyed by a fire which started here early today. The fire threatened to spread to other buildings and help was summond from nearby towns. No one was reported injured. The cause of the fire, which started in the general store of H. R. PERO, has not been determined.

Fire Destroys Two Stores and Seven Houses at Wentworth
Wentworth, N. H., Sept 6 -- Two stores and seven houses in the center of the town were destroyed by a fire which started here early today. The fire threatened to spread to other buildings and help was summoned from nearby towns. No one was reported injured. The cause of the fire, which started in the general store of H. F. Pero, has not been determined.

Fire Destroys Town
Warren, N. H. Sept 6. -- Fire which broke out in Wentworth early today threatened complete destruction of the town. Telegraph and telephone communication between Warren and Wenworth [sic] has been destroyed.
Damage $35,000.
Wentworth, N. H. Sept. 6. --Two stores and seven homes were destroyed by the fire which for a time threatened to wipe out the town. Apparatus from nearby cities helped in placing the flames under control. The damage is estimated at $35,000.
